Golden Age

Occupational Therapy Support for School-Aged Children

Golden Age provides mobile Occupational Therapy support for children experiencing challenges with everyday tasks at school, at home or in the community.

Our Occupational Therapists can work collaboratively with families, teachers, learning support teams and other professionals to understand a child’s needs and develop practical strategies that support their participation and independence.

We can assist children with:

  • Fine motor skills, handwriting and classroom participation
  • Emotional regulation and sensory needs
  • Attention, routine participation and transitions
  • Self-care skills, including dressing, toileting and mealtimes
  • Gross motor coordination and everyday functional skills
  • Assistive technology and equipment recommendations
  • Functional assessments and reports for NDIS participants
  • Practical strategies for parents, carers and school staff

Flexible support at school or at home

Our mobile therapists can visit children in environments where support is most meaningful, including at school or in the family home. This allows our clinicians to understand the child’s daily routines and provide practical recommendations that can be applied by families and educators.
