Podiatrist – Full-Time – Residential Aged Care

Provide high-quality podiatry services to aged care residents and community clients across Sydney. Deliver evidence-based assessments, treatment and preventative care to support mobility and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive podiatry assessments for residents in RACFs.
  • Provide routine and complex foot care, including nail care, skin integrity management, and management of high-risk feet.
  • Assess and manage foot-related pain, mobility issues, and lower limb conditions impacting balance and function.
  • Identify and manage foot-related risk factors contributing to falls.
  • Prescribe and recommend appropriate footwear, orthotics, and pressure offloading strategies where required.
  • Collaborate with care staff, GPs, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic resident care.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on foot health, footwear, and preventative care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with aged care standards and compliance requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry.
  • Full AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously within an aged care environment.
