Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for participants with mental health and complex support needs.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals and recovery-focused frameworks.

Complete functional capacity assessments and provide detailed clinical reports to support NDIS funding reviews and plan reassessments.

Deliver evidence-based interventions targeting emotional regulation, daily living skills, community participation, and vocational readiness.

Provide environmental and home modification recommendations to enhance safety and independence.

Support participants in developing functional life skills, routines, and coping strategies.

Collaborate closely with families, carers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in line with NDIS and organisational standards.
Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience working within Mental Health and/or NDIS settings.

Strong report writing skills, including functional capacity assessments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within community settings.

Valid working rights in Australia.
